What is safeguarding in health and social care

During a conversation with my friend, we recently discussed, what is safeguarding in health and social care. We both agreed that it is crucial to prioritize our well-being and take necessary precautions to prevent harm and abuse. Safeguarding measures play a crucial role in preventing harm and abuse from occurring in the first place, and we believe it is essential to promote and prioritize such measures in health and social care settings.
